For Chronic, Complex Cases

Chronic illness is often diagnosed, treated, and still not resolved. For nearly 25 years I’ve focused on complex clinical pictures involving chronic inflammation, autoimmunity, digestive conditions, and other internal conditions.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the main treatment modality for complex, multi-system issues is Chinese Medical Herbology: personally customized herbal formulae that deeply address longstanding illnesses.

Along with acupuncture when necessary, and functional medicine approaches using targeted supplements, relief and recovery is a road we walk together.

Many people who see me are already well into their care

They have a diagnosis, often more than one. They’ve seen specialists and followed the plan. Their labs may even look fine. But they still plan the day around their gut, still flare when life gets hard, still feel worn down in a way no one has fully explained.

That’s the work I focus on: chronic illness that has become complex, and people who need a clinician with time and a long horizon.

Conditions Treated

The thread running through my practice is the gut–immune-brain axis: digestion, inflammation, immunity, neuroendocrine balance.
