Support for getting through treatment, and for recovering after it
Cancer treatment asks so much of the body. Nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue, digestive upset, and poor sleep can make it hard to keep going. When treatment ends, many people find recovery is slower than anyone told them it would be.
This is supportive care, not cancer treatment. Your oncology team treats the cancer. My role is to help you feel as well as possible while they do, and afterward.

My Approach
Cancer treatment asks a great deal of the body. Nausea, loss of appetite, fatigue, digestive upset, and poor sleep can make it hard to keep going. And when treatment ends, many people find recovery is slower than anyone told them it would be.
This is supportive care, not cancer treatment. Your oncology team treats the cancer. My role is to help you feel as well as possible while they do, and afterward.
What Care Looks Like
Timing matters. Herbal formulas are coordinated around your treatment schedule and may be held or adjusted around chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Some herbs are not appropriate during active treatment, and I take that seriously.
Acupuncture is available where appropriate and is often a good option for nausea and fatigue during treatment, when adding herbs isn’t the right choice.
Working with your oncology team
I coordinate with your oncologist and don’t advise changes to your treatment plan or medication. With your permission, I share my plan with your oncology team before starting herbs during active treatment. Anything that needs medical attention goes back to them immediately.
Get started
If you’re preparing for treatment, in the middle of it, or trying to recover afterward, I’d be glad to help.
