Hormones play a role in orchestrating all core body functions
Thyroid problems, the menopause transition, and PCOS rarely stay in one lane. They affect energy, sleep, weight, mood, and digestion, often all at once. Medication can correct a number without fully restoring how you feel.
Chinese medicine provides excellent support for thyroid disorders, perimenopause and menopause, PCOS, and blood sugar support, alongside your medical care

My Approach
Chinese medicine reads hormonal symptoms as part of a larger pattern that includes digestion, sleep, and stress. Treating that pattern, rather than one symptom at a time, is what tends to make improvement last. Formulas are tailored to you and adjusted as your body changes. Acupuncture is available where it helps, particularly for hot flashes and sleep.
What Care Looks Like
I review your labs and medications before we meet. Care runs for several months with scheduled reviews, since hormonal changes are best tracked over several cycles or months, often using your doctor’s blood tests to measure our progress.
Working with your doctor
This is care alongside your medical management. I don’t advise changes to thyroid medication, hormone therapy, metformin, insulin, or any other prescription. Every formula is screened against what you take. If your labs or symptoms suggest something needs medical review, I’ll send you back to your doctor.
Get started
If your hormones are being managed but you still don’t feel like yourself, I’d be glad to talk.
